Builders continue to struggle with short supply
The construction sector has boomed through much of the pandemic. Many of us decided to renovate our homes, or move out of the city, to suit our new work-from-home lifestyle.
However the demand for new homes, and covid restrictions around the world, has created an issue with the supply of building materials. It's hard to get stock of construction materials, and the products available have increased in price, making it hard for builders to turn a profit.
So how serious is the supply issue? And have we seen any indication of a reprieve?
